Lenora graduated from Windom High School with the Class of 1945. She worked a short time as a bookkeeper at the Wynn’s Hardware Store in Windom.

Lenora met and married her life partner, Eugene “Bud”  Muller, on October 27, 1946. This past Tuesday, they would have celebrated 69 wonderful years. They spent their entire life farming north of Windom – or as Lenora would say, “We are five miles north on 7#1, two miles west on County Road #22 (the landfill road), two miles north on gravel township Road 460th.

Together they found love, raised three children and built a beautiful marriage. Lenora always enjoyed her gardening of vegetables and flowers. She kept a beautifully mowed and trimmed yard. Lenora made her home a very inviting place for everyone. The walls hold many wonderful memories her family will cherish. She always could be found cooking or baking up a storm. Some of her family’s favorite includes lemon pie, mashed potatoes, rice pudding, sugar cookies, fresh-baked bread, sour cream/raisin pie, spinach dip, meat loaf and goulash.

They enjoyed traveling from coast-to-coast. Lenora was skilled with yarn and needles and enjoyed making sweaters and afghans.

She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Windom. She was a Worthy Matron of the Eastern Star of Jeffers, Minnesota.
