Wolverines’ team effort earns them first-place hardware
CLAIMING THE TITLE in the 30/60 Baseball League Tourney, played Saturday, July 11 at Island Park in Windom were the Mountain Lake Area Wolverines. The team earned the championship hardware with a 7-6 extra innings game victory over Springfield. Team members are, front, from left, Landon Boldt, Micah Holmberg, Tanner Koetzle and Noah Rempel. The 30/60 League participants are those who have completed grades 4-6. They play against teams from neighboring schools both in- and out-of-town on Tuesdays and Thursdays during the summer.
