A Celebration of Life visitation for Jeffrey C. Anderson, 54, of rural Ormsby, Minnesota will be held tomorrow evening (Tuesday, December 12, 2017), from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Kramer Family Funeral Home in Trimont, Minnesota. The funeral home is located at 71 2nd Avenue S. E.
A private family service will be held with Pastor Kathleen Uland-Klinkner of Augustana/East Sveadahl Lutheran Ministries officiating.

Jeffrey Clair Anderson was born on November 17, 1963, the son of Douglas and Sibyl (Hansen) Anderson in Madelia, Minnesota. He was baptized in January 1964 and confirmed on May 13, 1979 at Waverly Lutheran Church in rural Trimont. He attended school in Ormsby until 1975 and Armstrong Middle School in St. James, Minnesota in 1976. He graduated from St. James High School in 1982. Jeff attended the University of Minnesota-Waseca College of Agriculture in 1982-1983.
Jeff was a welder by trade, but started out life farming with his father on the family farm. He continued to help his father on the farm whenever he had time, since he loved it so much.
On October 18, 1986, he was united in marriage to Melissa Lynn Stromberg at Waverly Lutheran Church in rural Trimont. Jeff and Melissa settled in rural Ormsby and raised their family. Jeff was working for MSI, Mechanical Systems of Dundas, as a pipe fitter, welder and foreman at the time of his death.
He enjoyed attending his children’s and grandchildren’s events. Jeff could often be found fishing, playing cards with his family or simply taking a drive. In his 20s, he enjoyed racing cars at Fairmont and Jackson Speedways – Car #70.
He is survived by his wife, Melissa Anderson of rural Ormsby; his children, Brandon Linscheid of Ormsby, Jordan Anderson of Big Springs, Nebraska, Anthony Anderson of Villard, Minnesota, Brielle Anderson of Trimont, Minnesota and Gavin Anderson of Ormsby; four grandchildren, Braxton and Nevada Anderson and Keanin and Landon Linscheid; his parents, Douglas and Sibyl Anderson of St. James; two sisters, Mona (Brent) Kueker of Ormsby and Shelly (Mitchell) Gleiter of St. James; one brother, Matthew (Kathleen) Anderson Wheatland of Wyoming; sister-in-law, Melanie (Douglas) Fredin of Butterfield, Minnesota; father-in-law, Gary Stromberg Butterfield; grandparents, Leland “Butch”(Ruth) Hansen of Trimont, Minnesota; several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and other relatives and friends.
Jeff was preceded in death by a grandson, Prestin Linscheid; mother-in-law, Susan Stromberg; grandparents, Clair and Dorothy Anderson, Genrose Hansen, William McCloud, Steen and Leona Stromberg; niece, Faith Isabella Gleiter; great-niece, Isabella Neuenfeldt and other relatives.
