A 2016 Christmas in the Park; but – production team is needed

After several dedicated years of preparing, promoting, staging and displaying Christmas in the Park in Mountain Lake City Park, Cassie Harder, Brittany Winters and Emily Adrian, along with close family and friends, have announced that they will no longer be in charge of the holiday event.

On top of serving as the event’s production team, the trio also organized fundraising activities in connection with the light display and over the course of years, promoted the attraction by inserting different wintertime settings to the lighting scenery, including last year’s addition of a Snowflake Memory Garden,

Any group of individuals, service organization, church fellowship, 4-H club, etc., that is similarly interested in continuing the tradition – that is willing to keep the the lights on – can contact either of the three organizers for more information.

Below is a “Thank You” for warming Mountain Lake area hearts with colorful light displays extending the season’s greetings. And . . . hopes that the spirit of the holiday continues:
