Two cities in western Watonwan County have hidden Easter Eggs for hunts this Saturday, March 26. Children in Butterfield will search for the hidden eggs at 10 a.m. in the morning, while the Odin hunt will take place at 2 p.m. in the afternoon.

Following are the details on each of the Easter Egg Hunts:

Butterfield Egg Hunt in City Park

Butterfield City Park is the spot to participate in the traditional egg hunt. The hunt will begin at precisely 10 a.m. this Saturday.

The egg hunters will be divided into three categories – preschool-kindergarten, first-to-third-grades and fourth-to-sixth-grades. Children are to bring their own baskets in which to collect their eggs. A parent or adult must accompany small children.

There will be almost 2,000 eggs for which to be on the hunt. Each is filled with either candy, a slip to claim a toy of stuffed animal prize or a gift certificate to the Butterfield True Value Hardware Store.

The Butterfield Area Community Club Auxiliary sponsors of the annual Easter Egg Hunt.

Odin Ball Park location for city’s egg hunt

The fifth-annual Odin Easter Egg Hunt and bunny visit will be this Saturday afternoon. Registration will run from 1:30 p.m. to 2 p.m., with the hunt kicking off at 2 p.m.

The age groups will be 0-4-years-old, five-to-eight-years-old and nine-to-12-years-old.

There are many prizes to be won in each age group. Once again this year, there will be a drawing for three bicycles.

The Odin State Bank and B & B Specialties of Odin are the event sponsors.
