Cottonwood County’s gift collection program underway
Cottonwood County’s gift collection program – Christmas Cheer Box – is now underway.
New, unwrapped toys, gifts, hats, mittens and clothing are needed for those under 18-years-old. The donation deadline is Tuesday, December 8.
In Mountain Lake, collection boxes are located in Country Pride Hardware, Peterson Thrifty White Drug and Gifts, United Prairie Bank, Mountain Lake City Hall and Mark Hanson Agency.
Cash donations are also welcome.

The application deadline to receive gifts is this Friday, November 30. In Mountain Lake, applications are available at Mountain Lake City Hall and area churches. Completed applications can be mailed to the same cash donation address above.
The Christmas Cheer Box is sponsored by Windom Women of Today, the Mountain Lake Police Department and the Windom Police Department.
