Tuesday fternoon two-vehicle crash sends one to hospital
The driver of a 2008 Ford Focus, 27-year-old Lucas Hosek of Springfield, was transported to Sanford Medical-Windom, after the vehicle rear-ended a stopped 2016 Dodge Ram, driven by Ivan Carter, 60, of Jeffers that occurred at 3:50 p.m. Tuesday afternoon, October 17. Both vehicles were traveling northbound on United States Highway #71 in Great Bend Township of Cottonwood County. The Dodge Ram had stopped for a school bus. Carter was not injured.
The Minnesota State Patrol was assisted by the Cottonwood County Sheriff’s Office, Windom Police Department, Windom Fire Department and Windom Ambulance.
