All four MLC Junior High competing orators place at Monday night meet
FOUR JUNIOR HIGH speech team members from Mountain Lake Christian (MLC) competed at the Adrian Speech Meet tonight (Monday, March 6) and each brought home an award in their individual categories – with one earning two ribbons. Above, from left, eighth-grader Sofia Solorzano from St. James received a red ribbon in Great Speeches; seventh-grader Eli Johnson of Bingham Lake was champ in Discussion; Zoey Smith of St. James, an eighth-grader, was a double-entrant and earned awards in both categories, third-place in Drama and 5th in Creative Expression and Sara Quiring, an eighth-grader from Butterfield, was presented a red ribbon in Storytelling.
