Wolverines dominate heavier weight classes for win
SIBLEY EAST (GAYLORD, Green Isle and Arlington) handled the Windom/Mountain Lake (W/ML) Cobra Wrestlers Tuesday night, January 26, at the St. James Triangular, winning 60-15. The Cobras won at 113 pounds when Zach Spinks pinned East’s Kevin Melger in 1:19. Teammate Alex Borsgard was the victor in a 6-5 decision over Tanner Pasvogel at 126, and the Cobras got one more win, this at 152 pounds, with Yanick Tade pinned Jose Felipe in 5:32. From there, Sibley East dominated in the heavier weight classes, winning the final six bouts. W/ML returns to Windom to host Jackson in a dual on Thursday, January 28. They close out the regular season at the Luverne Wrestling Tournament on Saturday, February 6.
