Wolverine Girls Basketball notch another conference win

THE MOUNTAIN LAKE Area (MLA) Wolverines Varsity Girls Basketball team held a seven-point halftime lead over host Heron Lake-Okabena (HL-O), 30-23, and went on to notch another Red Rock Conference win with a 47-41 six-point victory. Senior Signey Stoesz led the Wolverines at Okabena by scoring 25 points, grabbing six boards and nabbing six steals. The Wayne Klassen-coached squad sports a 4-1 record on early season play. Next up, Red Rock Central (RRC) comes to Mountain Lake on Tuesday, December 22.
