THE MOUNTAIN LAKE Area (MLA) Wolverines Varsity Girls Basketball squad gave their head coach, Wayne Klassen, a season-opening win on the road at Minnesota Valley Lutheran of New Ulm, 47-40. Senior Signey Stoesz pumped in 35 points for the victory. The Lady Wolverines will play United South Central a Wells this Saturday, December 5, B-squad tip-off at 5 p.m., followed by the varsity game.
