MLA harriers host 3rd Annual MLA Elementary Boys/Girls Cross Country Meet

 

 

Runners with the Mountain Lake Area (MLA) Wolverine boys and girls cross country teams planned, organized and hosted the 3rd Annual MLA Elementary Cross Country Meet following the school day on Friday afternoon, October 13, at Munson Field. Seventy-four young runners from preschool to grade six, pulled from Mountain Lake Public Elementary School and Mountain Lake Christian Elementary, competed.

Grade -Level Winners

+ Preschool-Kindergarten ¼-Mile: 

  • Girls – 1st – Mikaya Schroeder, 2nd – Brynlee James, 3rd – Alayna Nelson.
  • Boys – 1st – Oshane Bent, 2nd – Micah Fast, 3rd – Landon Brugman.

+ 1st-2nd Grade ½-Mile:

  • Girls – 1st – Jessah Janzen, 2nd – Leah Strom, 3rd – Abriana Garcia.
  • Boy – 1st – Keymoni Bent, 2nd – Jacob Lopez, 3rd – Gideon Winger.

+ 3rd-4th Grade ¾-Mile:

  • Girls – 1st – Julia Brinkman, 2nd – Kelby Janzen, 3rd – Isabelle Penner.
  • Boys – 1st – Max Fast, 2nd – Caleb Klassen, 3rd – Owen Klassen.

+5th-6th Grade 1 Mile:

  • Girls – 1st – Annika Brinkman, 2nd – Lydia Rete, 3rd – Khya Boldt.
  • Boys – 1st – Kody Wassman, 2nd – Zach Klassen, 3rd – Luke Moller.
