Forging leaders

Three Mountain Lake FFA Chapter members attend SLCCL

Minnesota FFA members gathered for a three-day State Leadership Conference for Chapter Leaders (SLCCL) at Deep Portage Conservation Reserve near Hackensack from June 29-July 1 to develop leadership skills for their communities and home chapters. The FFA members attending the conference hailed from all corners of the state and represented unique sectors of agriculture, and have been recognized as top leaders in their schools.

Included in that group were three members from the Mountain Lake FFA Chapter – David Hall, Sierra Pankratz and Kayla Vonk – as well as Advisor Lindsey Brockberg

This leadership conference was made possible with financial contributions from the CHS Foundation, Northland Ford Dealers, Alliance Pipeline and Dr. Curtis Youngs as a special project of the Minnesota FFA Foundation.
