Young MLC Speech Team is speaking out

Junior High orators compete in St. Peter Tourney

 

ALL FIVE MEMBERS of the young Mountain Lake Christian (MLC) Speech Team, led by Coach Kim Friesen, earned ribbons at the St. Peter Junior High Speech Tournament held Thursday, February 23. Here are the results – Sofia Solorzano (St. James),  3rd place in Great Speeches; Sara Quiring (Butterfield), 5th place in Storytelling; Elizabeth Linscheid (Butterfield), 5th place in Original Oratory; Zoey Smith (St. James), 7th place in Drama and Jack Lepp (Butterfield), 8th place in Humorous.
