Wolverine girls drop home conference game to Falcons

MLA loses 62-33; host Edgerton Public Saturday night

 

THE MOUNTAIN LAK,E Area (MLA) Wolverine girls basketball team dropped a home conference tilt to the Falcons of Red Rock Central (RR) 62 to 33 on Thursday, January 26. The guests held a 12-point halftime lead, 29 to 17. Jenneel Rodney led MLA scorers with six points. The Falcons’ Ramsey Piotter scored 15 points and scored her 1,000th career point. Rachel Kedl scored 14 points for RRC, with 10 rebounds. Piotter also had eight assists and five steals. The girls play Edgerton Public at home on Saturday night, then host United South Central on Tuesday, January 31.
