Wolverine girls bring ‘home’ second win of season

Hold on to claim six-point victory over MCC

 

 

 

THE MOUNTAIN LAKE AREA (MLA) Wolverine varsity girls basketball squad held on to bring “home” a six-point over guest Murray County Central (MCC) in a Tuesday night, December 20 contest, 42-36. At the game’s halfway point, MLA was on top by just two, 20-18, and the second half presented that same close contest. Liana Blomgren had 20 points, eight boards and five steals for the Wolverines, and Margo Stoesz chipped in eight points. MLA improves to 2-5 overall and 1-2 in the conference.
