THE WOLVERINE BOYS pounced early, and by halftime, were on top of host Sleepy Eye St. Mary’s by 18, 37 to 20. they maintained a double-digit cushion, taking their seventh win in an undefeated season to date by 12 points, 64 to 52 in a Thursday, December 22 contest. For Mountain Lake Area (MLA), Levi Stoesz recorded a game-high 23 points, his stats padded with four assists and a trio of steals. Weston Osland tossed in 17 and Marcus Boyd also scored in double digits with 10 points. Aaron Fast was strong under the boards for 12 rebounds. MLA will next face Cedar Mountain/Comfrey and Thursday, December 29 at home during the Wolverine Holiday Tournament.
