MLHS Junior High, Senior High Choirs Pops Concert to celebrate with that theme
This year’s Mountain Lake Public High School (MLHS) Junior High and Senior High Choirs Pops Concert will create a local Disneyland experience, with vocal selections centered around a Disney theme.
The choirs, under Mountain Lake Public School’s Director of Choirs Andrea Brinkman, will present this concert on Monday, May 23, beginning at 7 p.m. in the school’s auditorium.
A special “Meet-N-Greet” will be held backstage from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., with choir students dressed as Disney characters, ready to meet community members and their families for a photo opportunity, nab an autograph and savor a Disney cookie along with juice and/or coffee.
The concert itself will feature vocal music from the very first Disney film in 1946, to selections from some of the latest Disney films.
