MOUNTAIN LAKE AREA (MLA) Wolverines Boys Basketball varsity forward, Ryan McCue, was recently honored as a 2015-2016 Academic All-State by the Minnesota Basketball Coaches Association (MBCA). Ryan, the son of Mike McCue and Leslie Erickson, is a senior at Mountain Lake Public High School. Thirty boys basketball players in Class A and Class AA were recognized for their academic achievement, along with 22 in Class AAA and Class AAAA. Other area boys basketball players recognized as an all-state academic included Jackson Dehen of Mankato Loyola, Will Keller of Maple River, Seth Schuette of Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop, Michael Skillings of New Ulm Cathedral and Andrew Hmielewski of Marshall.
