Sanders, Rubio win Minnesota caucuses

It was Bernie Sanders – in the Democratic-Farmer-Labor (DFL) Party caucuses – and Mark Rubio – in the Republican Party caucuses – who were the winners in the 2016 Minnesota Presidential Caucuses held Tuesday, March 1.

Statewide, there were 206,536 DFL Party members who caucused in the state, with 114,230 Republican Party members coming together to make their choices.

+ Republican Party – Marco Rubio, 41,395; Ted Cruz, 33,174; Donald J. Trump, 224,469; Dr. Ben Carson, 8,422; John R. Kasich, 6,563; Write-In, 207.

+DFL Party – Bernie Sanders, 126,971; Hillary Clinton, 79,665. Uncommitted, 1,064; Other, 209; Rocque “Rocky” De La Fuente, 158.
