Motorists are advised that construction on Interstate 90 (I-90), between Round Lake and Lakefield in Jackson County, will resume on Monday, March 28 – weather permitting.

I-90 traffic will be reduced to a single lane in each direction beginning on March 28. Westbound traffic will be switched over to the eastbound lanes beginning Monday, April 4. The Highway #86 westbound ramps will also be closed starting April 4 and traffic will be detoured to Jackson County Road #9.

Construction, which began last year, includes concrete paving and pipe work and is expected to be completed by late July.  The project will improve the safety and smoothness of I-90.

HcPCi is the contractor on the $36,000,000 project.
