On December 18, 1943, she married John Toedt and they farmed on the Toedt farm until 1959, when they moved their family to the Twin Cities area. John and LeVone built a house and moved back to St. James in 2001.

When she wasn’t busy taking care of the house and yard and cooking, she enjoyed making clothes, growing flowers, decorating her home, crossword puzzles and crypto quips. She was preceded in death by her parents; father- and mother-in-law, Gladden and Lillian Toedt; husband, John Toedt; brothers, Vernon and James Romsdahl; sisters, Lorraine Kuehl, Charlotte Moe, Phyllis Johnson and Janice York; great-grandson, Joshua Gordon and other relatives.
