. . . ‘Man Up & Sing!’

Two young men from the Mountain Lake Public High School (MLHS) Senior High Choir – seniors Ethan Karschnik and Sam Xayanourom – along with their director, Andrea Brinkman, participated in the second annual “Man Up & Sing” men’s choral festival at Concordia College in Moorhead on Tuesday, September 29.

More than 100 men took part in the festival that is “just for men” as part of the college’s choral program.

Selections worked on were “Sisi Ni Afrika” by Christian “Ceej” Oliver and “This Old Hammer,” arranged by Neil Ginsberg.

After holding voice lessons and rehearsals, an informal concert was held in the afternoon that featured faculty solo performances, undergraduate solo performances and the two rehearsed selections by the festival men.
