MLA Chapter finishes third overall
Melanie Adrian of the Mountain Lake Area (MLA) FFA Chapter participated in the Minnesota State FFA Horse Show on Saturday, August 1, at the Jackson County Fairgrounds in Jackson. The event was co-sponsored by the Martin County West FFA Chapter.
Overall, the chapter finished third, behind first-place Pipestone and second-place Martin County West. The Marshall FFA Chapter was fourth. Dick Ochs served as judge for the event.
Classes of competition included Open Halter, Open Showmanship at Halter, English Pleasure, English Equitation, Western Pleasure and Western Horsemanship.
Competitive games were Egg and Spoon, Key Race, Pole Weaving, Jumping Figure Eight and Barrel Racing.
