MLC ‘graduates’ 13 students to first grade
The 13 “graduates” donned caps and gowns – and turned their tassels – and put their kindergarten year at Mountain Lake Christian (MLC) in their rear view mirrors. The “baker’s dozen” of grads are looking through their windshields, ready now to take the next big step in their education ride – first grade.
The graduates included Shelby Penner, Isabelle Penner, Mareena Onken, Levi Onken, Kirstin Nickel, Cameron Meyer, Harlie Krueger, Owen Klassen, Caleb Klassen, Katie Johnson, Jessah Janzen, Sofia Flohrs and Audrey Dick.
They received their diplomas from MLC Board Chair Matt Johnson during ceremonies held Friday morning, May 22, in the school’s music room.
The MLC Kindergarten teacher is Sheryl Fast, with Leechelle Quiring the classroom paraprofessional.
