Kids Kafe is coming soon to each of the three school districts in Watonwan County.

Kids Kafe offers a FREE meal to ANY youth 18-years-old and under. There is no paperwork to fill out and no money is needed. Adult noon meal lunch prices are $3.75. There will be special activities on selected dates, as well as drawings for door prizes.

Lunch meals only at the Butterfield-Odin Public School site (the school cafeteria) will provided Monday through Friday from Monday, June 15 to Friday, August 14 (there will be no meal on Friday, July 3). Hours will run from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

The Summer food Service Program is a federally-funded program operated by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). The Minnesota State Department of Education administers the program at the local level.

This program was established to provide nutritious meals to children during summer vacation, when school lunch is not available.

Additional funding is provided by a grant from Second Harvest.
