MLES grades K-6, fifth-, sixth-grade bands perform in Friday afternoon concert

Mountain Lake Public Elementary School (MLES) students in grades kindergarten-through six, as well as the fifth-grade band and the sixth-grade band, were onstage in the school gymnasium to spread the spirit of springtime through their music in a Friday afternoon, May 8 concert.

Music instructor for grades kindergarten-to-five is Christine Johnson, with Andrea Brinkman the sixth-grade’s music teacher and Kurt Jahnke as the director for both of the presenting bands.
