The MLC Players to retell entire Bible in only one hour

Old, New Testaments combine to make a ‘Long Story Short’ in Friday, Saturday, performances

long story shortMountain Lake Christian (MLC) thespians in grades 6-12 will be presenting a dramatic and comedic retelling of the entire Bible – the Old Testament and New Testament – in only one hour, in a special production Friday, May 9 and Saturday, May 10, curtain times at 7 p.m. each evening. The presentation, by “The MLC Players,” will be in the new music room addition.

Advanced-sale tickets may be purchased through the MLC office (507-427-2010). The remaining tickets will be sold at the door while supplies (and space) last. Adult tickets are $6, student tickets are $4 and admission for pre-schoolers and under is free. If in need of wheelchair-accessible seating, contact the school office. Concessions will be available at an additional cost.

Cast members include Tyler Dick, Caitlyn Smith, Elijah Stoesz, Melanie Adrian, Josh Raabe, James Hamm, Melissa Lohrenz, Danica Dick, Paige Riihl, Katelyn Fast, Chloe Klassen, Bryce Adrian, Peyton Buller and Timothy Sellers.

Directing the play are Kim Friesen and Aaron Petersen.
