MLC freshman Danica Dick savors first experience at MSHSL Class A Speech Tourney

What a great opportunity for Danica to compete at the 2014 MSHSL Class A speech tournament. Danica tied for 10th place in storytelling.
THIRD AT SUB-Section, third at Section, 10th-place tie at State – and first in the hearts of her friends, family, peers and coach and fellow “speechies” at Mountain Lake Christian (MLC). Freshman Danica Dick savored her first experience competing in the 2014 Minnesota State High School League (MSHSL) State Class A Speech Tournament, held Saturday, April 12 at Blaine Public High School. (Class AA Speech was held at the same location on Friday, April 11. At State, Danica used the opportunity to earn her 10th-place tie in her category of Storytelling (awards are presented to the top eight finishers).
