Funeral services for 32-year-old Lucky Vetsouvanh of Mankato, Minnesota will be held at 12:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday afternoon, January 24, 2015, at Sturm Funeral Home-Mountain Lake Chapel, located at 420 10th Street North in Mountain Lake, Minnesota. Cremation in Worthington, Minnesota will follow.
Visitation will be at Sturm Funeral Home-Mountain Lake Chapel, on Friday, January 23, 2015, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Lucky Vetsouvanh passed away on Monday, January 19, 2015, at his home.
Lucky was born on July 20, 1982, in Minneapolis, Minnesota the son of Lay and Mony (Chanthakhanh) Vetsouvanh.
He graduated from Mountain Lake Public High School as a member of the Class of 2001.
Lucky worked in construction as a utility worker.
He enjoyed sports and spending time with his nephew, Andres Vetsouvanh and his niece, Aleena Vetsouvanh
Survivors include his parents; brothers, Tony, Victor and Tino (Priscilla) Vetsouvanh; nephew Andres Vetsouvanh and niece, Aleena Vetsouvanh.
According to Lucky’s brother, Tony Vetsouvanh, “It is customary in my Lao culture to have company at home until the funeral, to mourn with the family. You are all welcome to join us in our home anytime to mourn Lucky. Our home and mailing address is 707 3rd Avenue, Mountain Lake MN 56159.
