THE WINDOM/MOUNTAIN Lake (W/ML) Cobra wrestlers took down St. James Area (SJA) in a home dual in Windom on Tuesday, January 31, 36 to 25. The victory was built by compiling an early lead, courtesy of a trio of pins in the first six matches. At 106 pounds, Brett Willaby pinned Wyatta Wescott; Trenton Renquist claimed a pin at 113 over Troy Pularski and at 138, Evan Wiens put Erik Morales to the mat. In addition, Zach Spinks earned a 1-0 decision over Nelson Cuellar at 126, decisions were added at 160 by Jeff Wright and at 170 by Jesse Jepsen and Jabari Carlton nailed down the match for the Cobras with a pin in the 195-pound match. The final regular season match for W/ML is this Friday, February 3, at Jackson County Central.
