+ Cooking Class: Making Alfajores (Dulce de Lech Sandwich Cookies) – Tuesday, November 17, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., fee is $10 and instructor will be Loida Garcia. (Register by Tuesday, November 10.)
+ Coats for Kids – Tuesday, November 10, 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., Mountain Lake Public Elementary School cafeteria. (Pre-register by contacting Roberta at 800-831-1987.)
+ Boys and Girls Elementary (Grades Kindergarten-through Sixth) Morning Basketball – Saturday mornings (November 7, 14 and 21; December 5, 12 and 19; January 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30 and February 6, 13, 20, 27), grades kindergarten-through-three from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m., grades four-through-six from 10:15 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., Mountain Lake Public Elementary School gymnasium, fee is $10.
+ Open Gym and Hallways for All Ages – From 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on November 27 and 28; December 5, 12, 19, 26, 27 and 30; January 2, 9, 16 and 23; February 6, 13, 20 and 27 and March 5 and 12.
+ Hall Walking – From 6 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.; during regular school days, enter through the Mountain Lake Public Elementary School’s main door. (Must register).
+ Dance Class for Preschoolers – Starts Tuesday, November 2. Call for more information.
+ Dance Class for Kindergarten-through-Seventh Grade – Call for more information.
+ 4-H After-School Adventures – Mountain Lake Public Elementary School library, 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., Tuesday, November 10 (Creative Foods), Monday, December 7 (Oceans of Fun), fee is $2 per session, instructor will be Crystal Reith. (Register for all sessions one week prior to each session.)
+ Prairie Ecology Bus Wild Ones After-School ECO Club for Grades 3-6 – Mountain Lake Public Elementary School library, 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., sessions are free, Tuesday, November 3 (Wacky Water), Monday, December 14 (Crazy Science), Monday, January 25 (Micro-Journey), Tuesday, February 22 (Art of the Animal) and Monday, March 21 (Grossology-The Icky, The Yuck and The Gross!)
