Recovering in Rochester hospital following Friday night ATV accident

Jacob Molitor, son of Paul and Deb Molitor of Mountain Lake, suffered severe injuries in an ATV (all-terrain vehicle) accident late Friday night, July 3, approximately one mile north and west of Voss Park, located near Butterfield.
Molitor was thrown from his ATV and was airlifted to Mayo Clinic Health System-St. Mary’s Campus in Rochester with a severed spinal cord and eight broken ribs after initially being transferred by ambulance to Mayo Clinic Health System-St. James.
Jacob, age 25, a graduate of Mountain Lake Public High School, is currently a resident of Bergen and is a manufacturing engineer technician at AGCO in Jackson.
He will have surgery tomorrow (Monday, July 6) to fuse his spinal cord
