Mountain Lake Recycling Day is June 11
The City of Mountain Lake will hold a Mountain Lake Recycling Day for hazardous waste next Thursday, June 11, from 10 a.m. 12 noon, at Cottonwood County’s Mountain Lake Highway Shop, located at 2601 3rd Avenue (Cottonwood County Road #27).
Collected will be:
* Fluorescent light bulbs.
* Appliances.
* Electronics and televisions, computers and other electronic devices.
* Tires.
* Household hazardous waste – including cleaners, paint, paint thinners, fertilizers, pesticides, oven/drain cleaners, gasoline, motor oil and oil filters.
For some items, fees apply.
At other times, these items must be recycled at the Cottonwood County Landfill, located at 43973 Cottonwood County Road #22.
