Butterfield-Odin Public Elementary School will hold a Kindergarten Round-Up on Tuesday evening, April 14, from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the school cafeteria. Any child who will be five-years-old by September 1, 2015 – and their parents/guardians – are invited to attend.
The schedule for the evening will be:
* 6 p.m. – Free pizza in the school cafeteria.
* 6:30 p.m. – Group meeting in the media center.
* 7 p.m. – Future kindergarteners head to their classroom to listen to stories, make a fun art project, play on the computer and enjoy playtime with the other children and the kindergarten classroom staff. Their parents/guardians stay in the media center for an informational meeting.
Those attending are to enter through the school’s front door.
Parents/guardians MUST bring the following required records to the meeting:
* Original immunization records.
* Original birth certificate.
Copies of these records/certificate will be made and returned before the end of the evening’s activities.
