Ford pickup, Dodge Challenger involved; one transported to Windom Area Hospital
A two-vehicle accident occurred at 12:14 p.m. this afternoon (Friday, August 11), at the intersection of Minnesota State Highway #60 and Cottonwood County Road #1 in Mountain Lake Township of Cottonwood County, sending the driver of one of the vehicles to Windom Area Hospital.
A 1997 Ford pickup, driven by 39-year-old Allen Kleven of Mountain Lake, traveling south on County Road 1, had stopped at the intersection of Highway 60 and County 1, and pulled out, colliding with a 2016 Dodge Challenger, driven by 61-year-old Randy Domeyer of Buckeye, Arizona, heading east on Highway 60.
Domeyer was transported by Mountain Lake Ambulance Service to Windom Area Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Kleven was not injured.
Both were wearing seat belts.
Also assisting the Minnesota State Patrol at the scene were the Mountain Lake Police Department, Cottonwood County Sheriff’s Office and Mountain Lake Fire and Rescue.
