Wendi Jo (Larson) Anderson was born on January 16, 1968 to Bob and Nancy Larson at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Mankato, Minnesota. Wendi was baptized in the Lutheran faith in Mankato and confirmed at Augustana Lutheran Church in St. James. She married Gary Anderson on June 11, 1994 at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Mankato, and later converted to the Catholic faith herself. Wendi and Gary had two sons, Nicholas and Noah, whom she loved deeply and dearly.

She enjoyed her own children as well as her kids at school. She had an infectious laugh that she loved to share with everyone she met. Wendi found joy in helping others. Her motto was ‘Live, Laugh, Love!’ and she had one speed for everything she did – “FAST.” She was an amazing mother and had a beautiful heart, full of love for her children and her husband, Gary. Her favorite song was “You Are My Sunshine, My Only Sunshine,” and she would sing it often to her children.
