A Memorial Service for 96-year-old Margaret Preheim of Mountain Lake, Minnesota, will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday morning, June 24, 2017, at Bethel Mennonite Church in Mountain Lake. The church is located at 301 9th Street North.
Visitation will be at the church the day of the service from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Margaret Helen Preheim passed away on Tuesday, May 30, 2017, at the Good Samaritan Society of Mountain Lake-The Village in Mountain Lake.
Margaret Helen Peters Fast Preheim was born on March 11, 1921 in Mountain Lake, the daughter of Cornelius and Katherine (Rempel) Peters. Margaret was baptized on May 11, 1940, and became a lifetime member of Bethel Mennonite Church in Mountain Lake.
She was united in marriage to John T. Fast on August 31, 1943, who passed away on October 21, 1965. She married Reinhardt Preheim on August 31, 1973.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are her seven children, John W. (Barbara) Fast of Harrisonburg, Virginia, Elaine Anton of Minneapolis, Minnesota, Sherryl (Donovan) Friesen of Freeman, South Dakota, Ken (Wendy) Fast of Mountain Lake, Lois (Wayne) Sousley of Elkhart, Indiana, Karen (Dale) Shenk of Goshen, Indiana and Janiece (Mark) Scozzari of Fresno, California; 18 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John T. Fast; sister, Arlene Dick and son-in-law, Bob Anton.
