Windom woman injured in two-vehicle Thursday accident

Crash occurred on Highway 71 north of Windom

 

 

A 24-year-old woman from Windom, Andrea Grau, received non-life-threatening injuries and was transferred by Windom Ambulance to Windom Area Hospital following a two-vehicle accident on Highway 71 north of Windom that occured at 3:40 p.m. on Thursday afternoon, April 6.

Grau, driving a 2000 Grand Am, was traveling south on Highway 71, while a 2013 Dodge Durango, driven by Laura Miller, 53, of Delft, was heading northbound on 4th Avenue. The vehicles collided. Miller was not injured.

In addition to the Windom Ambulance, agencies assisting the Minnesota State Patrol were the Windom Fire Department, the Windom Police Department and the Cottonwood County Sheriff’s Office.
