THE MOUNTAIN LAKE Area (MLA) Wolverine boys varsity trailed by one at halftime (29 to 28), but fought back toclaim a nine-point win (67 to 58), over guest Lake Crystal/Wellcome Memorial in a non-conference weather-postponed game on Monday night, February 6. Levi Stoesz scored 19 points for the Wolverines, while Kris Menken had a double-double kind of night, hitting for 13 points, while grabbing 13 boards. Aaron Fast scored 13 points and grabbed eight rebounds. Blaid Fredrichs scored 18 points for the Knights, while Brady Isebrand scored 17 and Evan Bergemann scored 12. MLA improves to 13-5 with the win. Tonight they have a home rematch with the Falcons from Red Rock Central (RRC), and are seeking revenge for an earlier loss.
