No Wolverine boys basketball at Adrian tonight

VARSITY ONLY will play tomorrow (Saturday, February 25)

 

MOUNTAIN LAKE AREA (MLA) Wolverine boys basketball scheduled for tonight (Friday, February 24) at Adrian has been postponed until tomorow night (Saturday, February 25), with BOYS VARSITY ONLY hitting the hard court. Tip-off will be at 7 p.m. In addition to the heavy snow and winds, Adrian Public Middle and High School is mourning the death of its 52-year-old principal, Tim Christensen. Christensen passed away unexepectedly at his home on Sunday, February 19. In 1997, Christensen began his first job in education, teaching fourth-graders at Luverne Elementary School as well as coaching ninth-grade baseball and basketball. In 2005, he took over as principal at Russell-Tyler-Ruthton Schools. Two years later, he became principal at Adrian Public Middle and High School. One of Christensen’s favorite lines referenced the Adrian team name – “It’s a great day in Dragon Land!”
