Funeral services for 92-year-old Edna Rempel of Mountain Lake, Minnesota, will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday afternoon, January 21, 2017, at Community Bible Church in Mountain Lake. The church is located at 500 Klein Street.
Interment will be in Mountain Lake City Cemetery, located on 10th Street North at Midway Road.
Visitation will be at the church the day of the funeral service from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.

Edna Mathilda Rempel passed away peacefully at the Good Samaritan Society of Mountain Lake-The Village in Mountain Lake on Wednesday, January 11, 2017.
Edna was born in Bingham Lake, Minnesota, on February 5, 1924, but she spent most of her childhood years in Mountain Lake. She and Harry were married on June 29, 1948.
Edna taught first grade at the Mountain Lake Christian School for many years. As well, she was deeply involved with her beloved Mennonite Brethren Church (today, Community Bible Church). Her mission in life was always evangelism.
Surviving her are two daughters, Mary Jane (Paul) Loewen and Mavis Ruth (Rick) Heupel, as well as seven grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry, as well as numerous family members.
