WINDOM/MOUNTAIN LAKE (W/ML) Cobra varsity wrestlers competed at the Jackson County Central (JCC) Tourney on Saturday, December 10, with six making the medal stands at the end of the day. Medal winners included one champion, Alex Borsgard at 138 pounds. Kade Sammons, at 120 pounds, placed second; at 113 pounds, Brett Willaby earned third-place and Zach Spinks, at 132, Jesse Jepsen, at 160 and Jabari Carlton, at 195, all finished fifth. The junior varsity also wrestled at the tournament. Here are the results: finishing in first were Caden Swoboda, Trenton Renquist and Josh Samdal; second-place wreslers included Micah Holmberg and Eli Mutz and Keith Swenson was fourth. The W/ML wrestles next on Tuesday, December 13 at the Tracy Triangular.
