Santa’s Workshop to help children give gift of Christmas to their special people
Children associate the Christmas holidays with being the receivers of gifts.
So, too, every child would like to be able to give the special people in their life – parents, siblings, grandparents or friends – a gift for Christmas. With the help and support of local businesses and vendors, this will be made possible this year through a Santa’s Workshop. The event will be held on Saturday, December 3, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., at The Laker Bar and Grill.
Children will be able to go on a holiday shopping spree to pout a gift for those central in their lives for $1 to $5 each. All of the gifts have been locally donated by businesses and independent vendors within Mountain Lake.
All proceeds will be donated to kids/families in need in Mountain Lake.
Organizers of the holiday gift-giving activity are Emily Adrian (507-822-2522), Emily Bentson (605-351-3442) and Bethany Boldt (507-822-9850).
Santa’s Workshop will help teach children that in giving, they also receive.
