The Fulda Credit Union continues to branch out. It now has an office in Mountain Lake, located at 212 10th Street North in the former Custom Motors building just south of Care & Share/10,000 Villages. Lobby hours are Monday-Thursday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and on Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Fulda Credit Union, which opened in Fulda on September 12, 1986, is proud to “live where you live.” The 1986 grand opening was billed as the nation’s first new agricultural credit union in 30 years.

They are in southwest Minnesota to serve anyone who lives and works within their field of membership, including 40 townships in Nobles, Murray, Cottonwood and Jackson Counties. They also provide services to blood or adoptive relatives of local members or their spouses.

In addition to the main office in Fulda, there are now branches in Worthington, Windom, Jackson, inside the JBS plant in Worthington – and now, Mountain Lake. The Fulda Area Credit Union is now over 8,000 members strong and growing.

Fulda Credit Union is federally insured by National Credit Union Administration (NCUA), an independent federal agency that charters and supervises federal credit unions and insures savings in federal and most state-chartered credit unions across America.

Their mission is, “to provide quality financial services to our members in a convenient and cost effective manner.”
