A Mountain Lake couple, 78-year-old Marvan K. Gohr. and his wife, Mary C. Gohr, 76, along with a 62-year-old man from St. James, Robert R. Berndt, suffered non-life-threatening injuries when the vehicles they were in collided at Minnesota State Highway #60 and Cottonwood County Road #1 at 9:37 a.m. this morning (Tuesday, June 28).

Marvan Gohr was the driver of a 2016 Chrysler Town Country Mini-Van, with his wife, Mary, as a passenger, traveling southbound on County Road #1. Berndt was driving a 2005 International semi-trailer westbound on Highway #60. The vehicles collided in the intersection. Berndt was carrying a load of cattle in his trailer. Apparently none of the cattle were lost in the accident.

Mary Gohr was transported to Windom Area Hospital. Marvan Gohr was taken to Windom Area Hospital and later transferred to Sanford Health in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. An ambulance took Berndt to Windom Area Hospital, and he, too, was later transferred to Sanford Health in Sioux Falls.

Both the Chrysler and International received moderate damage and were towed to Windom Towing.
