MLPS bands, ensembles special classes perform Disney numbers – plus more

 

 

musicThe music of the Magic Kingdom of Disney (and Pixar) – plus more – was featured at the Monday, May 16 Mountain Lake Public School’s (MLPS) Pops Concert. Groups performing onstage in the school’s auditorium included a combined 5th- and 6th-Grade Band, combined 5th-to-8th-Grade Band (that sported five drum sets), the Junior Jazz Wolves, Groovalicious Percussion Ensemble, 7th- and 8th-Grade Guitar Class, 7th- and 8th-Grade Concert Band, Senior High Jazz Wolves, Senior High (Grades 9-12) concert Band, Senior High Percussion Ensemble and a mass 7th-12th-Grade Band.- featuring bands, instrument ensembles and special guitar classes from grades 5-12 – appear onstage in the school’s auditorium, beginning at 7 p.m.

Kurt Jahnke is the school’s Director of Bands.
