Finding a way to stay forever young-at-heart

Mountain Lake Area Chamber prom for adults held Saturday

adult promMay God bless and keep you always
May your wishes all come true
May you always do for others
And let others do for you
May you build a ladder to the stars
And climb on every rung
May you stay forever young
Forever young, forever young
May you stay forever young. – The lyrics of the first verse of Bob Dylan’s “Forever Young”

An enthusiastic group of adult folks found a good way to stay “young-at-heart” – not letting just the junior and senior high school students in the area have all the fun. They celebrated Saturday, April 23, at a Mountain Lake Area Chamber of Commerce-sponsored first Adult Prom – “Forever Young” – at PJ’s Bar and Grill in Bingham Lake.

The evening included a buffet dinner, DJ and dance and a raffle.

Additional sponsors included JSK Bridal, Matchless Gift, PJs, Uncle Bs, Peterson Thrifty White Drug and Gifts, Travis and Jaime Smith and Alisa Nickel.

Below are a few fun photos from the event:

Or was it because she had Superglue in her teeny tiny purse?), Mitchell and Erica Schroeder, Joe and Kristi Nelson, Megan VanEssen and Barrett Herrig and Ashley Kroeger and Kyle Schroeder.
