Crash occurred on four-lane Highway #60 in Watonwan County
Three vehicles were involved in a rear-end accident on four-lane Minnesota State Highway #60 at Milepost #62 in Watonwan County this afternoon (Monday, February 1), at 4:03 p.m.
A 2004 Toyota Sienna, driven by 65-year-old Robert J. Brucker of Mankato, Minnesota, traveling eastbound on Highway #60, rear-ended a 1981 GMC Tandem driven by 64-year-old Kim S. Olson of Butterfield, Minnesota. A 2015 Chevrolet Silverado, being driven by Christopher J. Schroeder, 29, of Mankato, was also eastbound following the Toyota and rear-ended that vehicle.
Both Brucker and Schroeder were transported by St. James Ambulance to Mayo Clinic Health System-St. James, in St. James, Minnesota, with non-life-threatening injuries. Olson had no apparent injuries.
The Toyota and the Chevrolet Silverado were both totaled, while the GMC Tandem received severe damage.
Also assisting the Minnesota State Patrol was the Watonwan County Sheriff’s Office.
