Early morning rollover on #60 west of Mountain Lake

St. James man receives non-life-threatening injuries

An icy patch on Minnesota State Highway #60 was the cause of an early morning, Friday, January 15 rollover accident that sent a St. James man to Windom Area Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

At 6:30 a.m., a 2000 GMC pickup, driven by Adam C. Blackstad, 31, of St. James, was westbound on Highway #60, about four miles west of Mountain Lake, when the driver lost control on an icy patch and rolled into the median.

The pickup received severe damage.

Assisting the Minnesota State Patrol was the Cottonwood County Sheriff’s Office.
